จากกรณีเมื่อวันที่ 14 ก.พ.ที่ผ่านมา ร.ต.ท.ดวงฤทธิ์ แสนฤทธิ์ พนักงานสอบสวนเวร สภ.สันทราย จ.เชียงใหม่ ไปพลิกศพหญิงถูกฆ่าหั่นศพออกเป็น 6 ท่อน คนร้ายจุดไฟเผาทั้งเสื้อผ้า อยู่ภายในบ้านหลังหนึ่งในพื้นที่ หมู่ 1 ต.สันนาเม็ง อ.สันทราย จากสภาพศพเชื่อว่า เสียชีวิตมาร่วม 10 วัน โดยช่วงเวลาสังหารน่าจะอยู่ในช่วงประมาณ วันที่ 3 ก.พ. 59 เพราะมีหลักฐานการติดต่อของผู้ตายครั้งสุดท้าย ทราบชื่อผู้ตายในเวลาต่อมา คือ นางสุรีย์ อ่อนสนิท อายุ 46 ปี เจ้าของบ้านที่เกิดเหตุ และเป็นเจ้าของร้านสปานวดแผนไทยจัสมิน ในตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่

ส่วนประเด็นการสังหาร ตำรวจมุ่งไปในเรื่องชู้สาว หรือหึงหวง เนื่องจากผู้ตายหน้าตาดี มีผู้ชายมาติดพันหลายคนและคนร้ายน่าจะเป็นคนใกล้ตัว จึงได้ส่งทีมสืบสวนออกติดตามคนร้าย และมีชุดสืบสวนภาค 5 และสืบสวนจังหวัดเข้ามาร่วมคลี่คลายคดีด้วย

ล่าสุด เมื่อตอนสายวันที่ 15 ก.พ. 59 หลังพบศพเพียงวันเดียว เจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจประกอบด้วยชุดสืบสวนภาค 5 และตำรวจภูธร จ.เชียงใหม่ สามารถติดตามจับกุมคนร้ายฆ่าหั่นศพและเผาศพสาวเจ้าของร้านสปารายนี้ได้แล้ว โดยหลังเกิดเหตุได้หนีไปบวชเป็นพระอยู่ที่สำนักสงฆ์แห่งหนึ่งใน อ.สันทราย จ.เชียงใหม่ เป็นคนใกล้ชิดที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผู้ตายอย่างที่ตำรวจตั้งประเด็นไว้ในตอนแรก

เบื้องต้น ผู้ต้องหาให้การรับสารภาพว่า ฆ่าเพราะความหึงหวง เนื่องจากผู้ตายคุยโทรศัพท์นัดหมายกับชายอื่นให้ได้ยิน จึงระงับอารมณ์ไว้ไม่ไหว ลงมือทำร้ายก่อนฆ่าหั่นศพและเผาศพ แต่ขณะลงมือผู้ตายได้ต่อสู้ ทำให้ถูกมีดบาดที่มือได้รับบาดเจ็บ ไม่รู้จะหนีไปไหน จึงหลบไปบวชเป็นพระได้ประมาณ 10 วันแล้ว ส่วนรายละเอียดอื่นๆ จะมีการแถลงข่าวอีกครั้ง ในช่วงบ่ายวันเดียวกันนี้

ทั้งนี้ ก่อนเกิดเหตุได้นอนดูทีวี ส่วนผู้ตาย วางโทรศัพท์ ไว้ที่หน้าทีวี ปรากฏว่าได้มีเสียงไลน์ ดังขึ้น จึงเปิดดูพบว่าเป็นของผู้ชาย ส่งไลน์มาหา ตนมั่นใจว่าผู้ชายที่ส่งไลน์มานั้น มีความสนิทชิดเชื้อกับนางสุรีย์จึงทะเลาะแล้วมีการลงไม้ลงมือ และนางสุรีย์ ผู้ตายได้ถือมีดเข้ามาเพื่อจะทำร้าย ตนจึงแย่งจนมีดบาดที่มือ จากนั้นได้แทงนางสุรีย์ จนเสียชีวิต แต่ด้วยความกลัวจความผิด จึงคิดที่จะซ่อนอำพรางศพด้วยการหั่นศพ โดยใช้มีดมาหั่นส่วนต่าง ๆ ของร่างกาย 6 ชิ้นแล้วเตรียมใส่ถุงเพื่อเอาไปทิ้ง

นายพิพัฒน์ ให้การด้วยว่า ประกอบกับเคยดูหนังเกี่ยวกับคดีฆ่าหั่นศพมาก่อน จึงได้คิดเลียนแบบ ด้วยการหั่นศพนางสุรีย์ ออกเป็นชิ้นๆแล้วตั้งใจจะนำไปทิ้งลงในแม่น้ำปิง และแหล่งน้ำอื่นๆ โดยแยกชิ้นส่วนไปแต่เพราะมือเจ็บ จึงทำให้หั่นศพได้เพียงแค่ 6 ชิ้นเท่านั้น จากนั้นจึงได้วิธีใหม่ ทำให้ดูเหมือนว่าที่บ้านเกิดไฟไหม้ และนางสุรีย์ ถูกไฟคลอกเสียชีวิตจึงได้วางแผนเพื่อทำการเผาอำพรางด้วยการนำเทียนมาวางไว้บนไส้ที่ใช้สำหรับจุดโคมลอย ก่อนจะหลบหนีไปบวชที่สำนักปฏิบัติธรรม จนเวลาผ่านมาร่วม 10วัน นึกว่าไม่มีใครรู้ แต่ถูกตำรวจตามมาจับกุมได้ในที่สุด.
