บทบาทของกองทัพไทย

เนื่องในวันที่ 18 มกราคม ของทุกปีถือเป็นวันกองทัพไทยเราจึงควรทราบถึงบทบาท ของกองทัพไทยซึ่งมีหน้าที่ที่สำคัญต่อประเทศมากมาย ล้วนแต่เป็นหน้าที่ที่สำคัญต่อประเทศชาติ ดังนี้


- การป้องกันประเทศ กองทัพไทยได้จัดทำแผนการป้องกันประเทศไว้สำหรับรับสถานการณ์
จากภัยคุกคามทุกด้าน และจัดให้มีการฝึกกองทัพไทยทุกปี รวมถึงมีการจัดเตรียมกำลังรบพร้อมปฏิบัติการ
ตามแผนตั้งแต่ยามปกติและยามคับขัน รวมทั้งแก้ปัญหาผู้อพยพและผู้ที่หลบหนีเข้าเมือง



- การรักษาความมั่นคงภายใน กองทัพไทยให้ความสำคัญต่อความปลอดภัยของสถาบัน ชาติ ศาสนา และพระมหากษัตริย์ รวมถึงปฏิบัติการด้านการข่าวเพื่อให้ได้ความร่วมมือจากประชาชน
