การพัฒนามาตรฐานการศึกษาไทยให้ก้าวไปสู่ประชาคมอาเซียนนั้นคงไม่เพียงพอ แต่ยังต้องพัฒนาเด็กและเยาวชนไทยให้มีศักยภาพพร้อมรับกับความเปลี่ยนแปลงของกระแสสังคมโลกได้อย่างมั่นใจ ที่สำคัญคือทุกภาคส่วนในสังคมต้องผสานความร่วมมือขับเคลื่อนการศึกษาไทยให้ก้าวไปสู่เวทีโลกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน
