ในการนำทฤษฎีความต้องการตามลำดับขั้นตอนมาสโลว์ไปใช้ในการจูงใจในการบริหารนั้นได้รับความนิยมในการนำมาปรับใช้ในองค์การต่างๆ อย่างกว้างขวางและแตกต่างกันไปตามลักษณะขององค์การ ทั้งนี้เพื่อสร้างความพึงพอใจหรือตอบสนองความต้องการของคนในองค์การอันจะนำไปสู่ประสิทธิภาพในการทำงาน
