กรณีการว่าจ้าง หากผู้รับจ้างส่งมอบงานล่าช้ากว่ากำหนดที่ตกลงกันไว้ ผู้รับจ้างจะต้องชำระค่าปรับให้แก่ผู้ว่าจ้างเป็นรายวัน ในอัตราร้อยละ 0.1 ของราคาค่าจ้างงาน แต่ไม่เกินอัตราร้อยละ 10 ของราคาค่าจ้างงานที่ไม่รวมภาษีมูลค่าเพิ่ม นับจากวันครบกำหนดส่งมอบงานเป็นต้นไปจนถึงวันที่ผู้ว่าจ้างได้รับมอบงานถูกต้องครบถ้วน
