1. วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อใช้เป็นคู่มือการปฏิบัติงานในการวิเคราะห์ซีโอดี โดยวิธีรีฟลักซ์แบบปิด (Closed Reflux Method)

(Potassium Dichromate, K2Cr2O7 )

เตรียมสารละลายมาตรฐาน K2Cr2O7 ความเข้มข้น 0.01667 M.

นำ K2Cr2O7 มาอบให้แห้งที่ 150oC 2 ชั่วโมง

ชั่งน้ำหนักมา 4.903 g แล้วนำมาละลายในน้ำกลั่น 500 mL

เติม Conc. H2SO4 167 mL

เติม HgSO4 33.3 g


ปรับปริมาตรเป็น 1000 mL

6.1.2 การเตรียมกรดซัลฟูริกรีเอเจนต์ (Sulfuric Acid Reagent)


เตรียม H2SO4 reagent

ชั่ง Ag2SO4 มา 5.5 g

ชั่ง FeSO4 . 7H2O มา 0.695 g
และ 1, 10 C12H8H2N2O มา 1.485 g







6.1.4 การเตรียมสารละลายมาตรฐาน เฟอรัสแอมโมเนียมซัลเฟต 0.1 M (Ferrous Ammonium Sulfate, FAS)
เตรียมสารละลายมาตรฐาน FAS เข้มข้น 0.1 M


ชั่ง Fe(NH4)2(SO4)2  6H2O มา 39.2 g


ละลายลงในน้ำกลั่น แล้วเติม Conc.H2SO4 20 mL


ทำให้เย็นแล้วเจือจางเป็น 1000 mL

หาความเข้มข้นที่แน่นอนของสารละลายมาตรฐาน FAS

ปิเปตสารละลาย K2Cr2O7 5 mL ใส่บีกเกอร์ขนาด 100 mL

เติมน้ำกลั่น 10 mL





ทิ้งให้เย็นที่อุณหภูมิห้อง

หยดเฟอโรอิน อินดิเคเตอร์ 3-4 หยด

นำมาไตเตรตกับสารละลายมาตรฐาน FAS
เข้มข้น 0.1 M จนได้สารละลายสีน้ำตาลแดง

เตรียมสารละลายมาตรฐาน KHP


นำ HOOCC6H4COOK ไปอบที่ 110oC จนมีน้ำหนักคงที่


ชั่งน้ำหนัก HOOCC6H4COOK มา 170 มิลลิกรัม (0.170 กรัม) มาละลายในน้ำกลั่น

เจือจางจนได้ปริมาตร 1000 mL









6.2 การวิเคราะห์หาค่า COD ในตัวอย่าง



ปิเปตน้ำตัวอย่างน้ำ ลงในหลอดย่อยขนาด 18 x 180 mm

หาความเข้มข้นที่แน่นอนของสารละลายมาตรฐาน FAS

เติมสารละลายมาตรฐาน K2Cr2O7 3 mL

นำหลอดย่อยใส่เครื่อง Heating Block
โดยใช้อุณหภูมิ 150oC เป็นเวลา 2 ชั่วโมง

เทสารละลายใส่ใน Erlenmeyer flask ขนาด 125 mL ใช้น้ำกลั่นฉีดล้าง
สารที่ค้างในหลอดออกให้หมด เทรวมใน Erlenmeyer flask

หยดเฟอโรอิน อินดิเคเตอร์ 3-4 หยด


นำมาไตเตรตกับสารละลายมาตรฐาน FAS เข้มข้น 0.1 M จนถึงจุดยุติ
ที่จุดยุติสารละลาย จะเปลี่ยนจากสีน้ำเงินเขียวเป็นสีน้ำตาลแดง
