ประวัติสวนนงนุช เมื่อปีพุทธศักราช 2497 นายพิสิทธิ์ และนางนงนุช ตันสัจจา ได้ซื้อที่ดินจำนวน 1300 ไร่ หลักกิโลเมตรที่ 163 ระหว่าง พัทยา-สัตหีบเป็นสวนผลไม้เช่น มะม่วง ส้ม มะพร้าว และอื่นๆต่อมา ได้เดินทางไปดูงานที่ต่างประเทศ และได้ประทับใจในความสวยงามของสวนต่างประเทศ ที่ได้เข้าไปชมประกอบกับเป็นคนที่ชอบดอกไม้เป็นทุนเดิมอยู่แล้วจึงมีแนวคิดที่จะ " จัดสวนให้คนมาเที่ยว " ดังนั้นจึงเปลี่ยนสวนผลไม้ที่เป็นอยู่เดิมเป็นสวนไม้ดอก ไม้ประดับ และได้ปลูกสร้างสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่างๆเช่น บ้านพัก ห้องอาหาร และห้องจัดเลี้ยงต่างๆ ไว้สำหรับให้บริการนักท่องเที่ยวผู้ที่มาเยี่ยมเยือนสวนแห่งนี้
