เหตุการณ์ 14 ตุลาคม หรือ วันมหาวิปโยค เป็นเหตุการณ์ที่นักศึกษาและประชาชนในประเทศไทย มากกว่า 5 แสนคน ได้รวมตัวกันเพื่อเรียกร้องรัฐธรรมนูญจากรัฐบาลเผด็จการของจอมพล ถนอม กิตติขจร นำไปสู่การใช้กำลังของรัฐบาลเมื่อวันที่ 14 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2516 มีผู้เสียชีวิต 77 ราย บาดเจ็บ 857 ราย และสูญหายอีกจำนวนมาก
