บทความวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิเคราะห์สาเหตุความขัดแย้งรวมถึงกระบวนการหาข้อยุติความขัดแย้งในงานก่อสร้าง โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยคุณภาพด้วยการวิจัยเอกสาร รวบรวมข้อมูลจาก เอกสาร ตำรา วิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ สาเหตุความขัดแย้งและนำไปสู่ข้อพิพาทที่ทำให้งานก่อสร้างไม่สำเร็จตามเป้าหมาย รวมถึงกระบวนการทางเลือกในการยุติข้อพิพาทในงานก่อสร้าง จากการศึกษาพบว่า สาเหตุที่ก่อให้เกิดความขัดแย้งจาก 3 ปัจจัย คือ ปัจจัยด้านบุคคลที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้อง ปัจจัยด้านเอกสารที่ใช้ในการทำงาน ปัจจัยด้านสภาวะแวดล้อม(กฎ ระเบียบ ปัจจัยภายนอก) และความขัดแย้งทำให้เกิดความล่าช้า แบ่งสาเหตุได้เป็น 3 กลุ่ม คือ กลุ่มเจ้าของและที่ปรึกษา กลุ่มผู้รับจ้าง กลุ่มเหตุสุดวิสัย โดยบางสาเหตุสามารถเรียกร้องค่าชดเชย และการขยายเวลาได้ ผ่านกระบวนการทางเลือกสำหรับการยุติข้อพิพาทซึ่งแบ่งตามระดับความรุนแรง ได้ 3 ระดับคือ น้อย ปานกลาง รุนแรง ทั้งนี้สิ่งสำคัญในการยุติข้อพิพาทขึ้นอยู่กับบุคคลที่เป็นคู่พิพาท ดังนั้นจึงสรุปปัจจัยของความขัดแย้งในงานก่อสร้างคือ 3CCL
