ภายในเป็นที่ประดิษฐานพระประธาน คือ "หลวงพ่อโต" สร้างเมื่อปี พ.ศ.2496 โดยช่างชาวพม่าเป็นพระพุทธรูป ขนาดใหญ่ มีขนาดหน้าตักกว้าง 4.85 ม. จำลองมาจาก พระศรีศากยมุนี (หลวงพ่อโต) ที่วัดสุทัศน์เทพวราราม วิหารแห่งนี้มีลักษณะทางสถาปัตยกรรมแบบไทใหญ่ผสมฝรั่ง อาคารมีผังเป็นรูปตัวแอล ผนังก่ออิฐถือปูน ประตู หน้าต่างตอนบนโค้ง ประดับลวดลายแบบสถาปัตยกรรมตะวันตก หลังคามุงสังกะสี เชิงชายมีลูกไม้ฉลุ แบบขนมปังขิง
