กฎหมายเกี่ยวกับการจราจร
กฎหมายที่เกี่ยวกับการจราจรทางบก ได้แก่ พระราชบัญญัติจราจรทางบก พ.ศ. ๒๕๒๒ ซึ่งบัญญัติขึ้นเพื่อใช้ควบคุมเส้นทางของผู้ขับขี่ คนเดินเท้า คนขี่จักรยาน ให้ปฏิบัติตามเพื่อความปลอดภัยในชีวิตและทรัพย์สิน
สาระสำคัญเกี่ยวกับพระราชบัญญัติจราจรทางบก มีดังนี้
กฎจราจรของผู้ขับขี่รถจักรยาน
๑) ขับขี่รถจักรยานในทางที่จัดทำไว้สำหรับรถจักรยาน
๒) รถจักรยานที่ใช้ในทางเดินรถ ไหล่ทาง หรือทางที่จัดไว้สำหรับรถจักรยาน ผู้ขับขี่ต้องจัดให้มีกระดิ่งให้สัญญาณ เครื่องห้ามล้อ โคมไฟติดหน้ารถ และโคมไฟติดท้ายรถจักรยาน
๓) ขับขี่รถจักรยานให้ชิดขอบทางด้านซ้ายของทางเดินรถ ไหล่ทางหรือทาวที่จัดทำไว้สำหรับรถจักรยานให้มากที่สุด

-ขับรถโดยไม่จับคันบังคับรถ
-ขับขนานกันเกิน ๒ คัน
-ขับโดยนั่งบนที่อื่นซึ่งไม่ใช่ที่นั่งตามปกติ
-เกาะหรือพ่วงรถอื่นที่กำลังแล่นอยู่

กฎจราจรของคนเดินเท้า
ในแต่ละวันเราต้องเดินไปตามสถานที่ต่าง ๆ เพื่อทำกิจกรรม ดังนั้นจึงควรรู้ข้อควรปฏิบัติตามกฎจราจรของคนเดินเท้า ดังนี้
๑) ให้คนเดินเท้าเดินบนทางเท้าหรือไหล่ทาง ถ้าไม่มีทางเท้า ให้เดินริมทางเดินด้านขวาของตน
๒) ห้ามไม่ให้คนเดินเท้าข้ามนอกทางข้าม ภายในระยะไม่เกิน ๑๐๐ เมตร นับจากทางข้าม

๔) ขณะที่เดินข้ามทางเดินรถในทางข้ามที่มีสัญญาณจราจรควบคุมการใช้ทาง ให้ปฎิบัติตาม ดังนี้
- สัญญาณจราจรไฟสีแดง ให้รถหยุด ให้คนเดินเท้าข้ามทางเดินรถได้
- สัญญาณจราจรไฟสีเขียว ให้รถไป ไม่ให้คนเดินเท้าข้ามทางเดินรถด้านนั้น
- สัญญาณจราจรไฟสีเหลืองอำพัน หรือไฟสีเขียวกะพริบ ทางด้านใดของทาง ให้คนเดินเท้าที่ยังไม่ได้ข้ามหยุดรอบนทางเท้า แต่ถ้ากำลังข้ามทางเดินรถอยู่ ให้ข้ามทางเดินรถโดยเร็ว
๕) ห้ามไม่ให้ผู้ใดเดินแถว เดินเป็นขบวนแห่ หรือเดินเป็นขบวนใด ๆ ในลักษณะที่กีดขวางทางจราจร เว้นแต่จะได้รับอนุญาตจากเจ้าพนักงานจราจร และปฏิบัติตามเงื่อนไขที่เจ้าพนักงานกำหนด
