ในตอนแรกของภาพยนต์ ผมรู้สึกสงสารเดวิด เขาเป็นคนที่ไม่น่าเชื่อถือ ทำอะไรผิดพลาดมาเยอะในชีวิตและการตัดสินใจทำอะไรของเขาแต่ละครั้งมักเป็นการตัดสินใจที่ผิดจนทำให้เขาต้องลำบากและเป็นหนี้ก้อนโต แต่เมื่อได้ดูภาพยนต์ก็ได้รู้ว่าเดวิดไม่ใช่คนที่ไม่เอาไหน เขาก็มีข้อดีอยู่เหมือนกัน แม้ว่าเมื่อก่อนเค้าจะล้มเหลวแต่เมื่อเขาได้เจอกับลูก ผมคิดว่ามันทำให้เขาเปลี่ยนไปเป็นคนละคน กลายเป็นคนที่มีความรับผิดชอบและเป็นคนที่เผชิญกับปัญหาได้ดีจนไม่รู้ว่าจะมีใครสามารถเป็นแบบเขาได้หรือไม่ และนี่มันทำให้ผมดูภาพยนต์ด้วยความสุข ดูไปยิ้มไป
