แหลงที่มาของข้อมูล
ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ได้นำข้อมูลทุติยภูมิแบบอนุกรมเวลา (time series) ซึ่งเป็นข้อมูลในช่วง พศ 2557 จนถึง พศ 2555 ...... ซึ่งเป็นข้อมูลที่มีการเก็บรวบรวมมาก่อนแล้วเพื่อจุดมุ่งหมายอื่นที่สารารถนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ต่อไปได้ โดยค้าคว้าและรวบรวมจากเอกสาร งานวิจัย และสถิติต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องจากหน่วยงานราชการและเอกชน เช่น สำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการเกษตร กรมการค้าภายใน สำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติและแหล่งอื่นๆนำมาวิเคราะห์
การวิเคราะห์เชิงปริมาณ
การศึกษาครั้งนี้ใช้ข้อมูลอนุกรมเวลาเพื่อหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ของตัวแปรอิสระโดยใช้แบบจำลองทางเศรษฐมิติ (Econometrics) มาใช้เป็นเครื่องมือวิเคราะห์เพื่อหาค่าสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปลอิสระกับตัวแปรตามและใช้การวิเคราะห์แบบสมการถดถอยแบบพหุคูณ (Multiple Regression Model) ในการประมาณค่าปัจจัยต่างๆที่มีผลกระทบต่อราคาข้าว ซึ่งแบบจำลองที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้คือ
