We have recently completed both the salary review and bonus evaluation exercises, in line with our Group management directives. For those eligible team members, you would have received by now your deserving token of salary adjustment and also the bonus payouts.

Salary Adjustment
In the conduct of this year salary review exercise, besides looking at each individual performance appraisal results, we have adopted a prudent approach in view of the challenges ahead of us with the uncertainties arising in both the local and overseas markets. The magnitude of salary adjustment to the eligible team members therefore, has been lower than desired.

Bonus Payout
Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your valuable contributions rendered to TREL during the past one year. We may not have fared too well for year 2014 however, as a TEAM, we did manage to overcome the hurdles and delivered our duties to our utmost best. Some of you have put in more efforts and performed much better than others, such efforts been duly noted, appreciated and rewarded with a Special Bonus component.

This year bonus payout consisted of the following components (which is similar to last year's):
1. Variable Bonus - different quantum been accorded to each individual based on his/her performance assessment rating. However, no bonus and/or Ang Pow for those whose performance has been grated below the "C" rating.
2. Long Service Bonus - additional token been accorded to those who have been with TREL for 5 years & above and 10 years & above category. Notwithstanding, we have made some deduction to such payment for those staff whose performance been grated at "C" rating and below. This is in line with our objective to constantly motivate and maintain a core team of long serviced yet engaging team members.
3. Special Bonus/(From Management) - additional token been accorded to the selected ones who have constantly put in that extra mile in contributing and with good potential to be groomed to take on more responsibilities as he/she progresses with the company.

Moving into year 2015, we would be expecting more challenges ahead in face of both the extreme tight deadline(s) to complete our existing projects in hands, and at the same time rafting through the uncertainties within our business industry in the next 6-9 months.

We need to stay focus as a fighting unit, constantly reviewing and refining our business processes to optimize our 3M (manpower, materials and machinery) deployment; and always adopting the "Smart thinking. Safe hands" attitude in all our business dealings.

I look forward to continuing leading TREL team along with Udomdech (and also supports from Nattawut/Prapan) with your best efforts and engaged attitude, to contribute as part of the Group efforts in improving Rotary's overall performance.
