หากนักกอล์ฟทำสกอร์ได้เกินกว่าค่าพาร

หากนักกอล์ฟทำสกอร์ได้เกินกว่าค่าพาร์ที่สนามกำหนด จะเรียกว่าทำสกอร์ โอเวอร์พาร์ เช่นตีไป 82 ครั้งเมื่อเล่นไปครบ18 หลุม ก็จะเรียกว่าทำสกอร์ได้ 10 โอเวอร์พาร์ และในทางกลับกัน หากนักกอล์ฟทำสกอร์ได้ต่ำกว่าค่าพาร์ที่สนามกำหนด ก็จะเรียกว่าอันเดอร์พาร์ เช่น ทำสกอร์ได้ 69 แต้มเมื่อเล่นครบ 18 หลุม ก็จะเรียกว่าทำสกอร์ 3 อันเดอร์พาร์นั่นเอง
