มาตรา ๔๔ ผู้ประกอบธุรกิจโรงแรมต้องชำระค่าธรรมเนียมรายปีตามหลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการและอัตราที่กำหนดในกฎกระทรวงตลอดเวลาที่ยังประกอบธุรกิจ ถ้ามิได้เสียค่าธรรมเนียมภายในเวลาที่กำหนดให้เสียเงินเพิ่มอีกร้อยละห้าต่อเดือน และถ้ายังไม่ยินยอมเสียค่าธรรมเนียมโดยไม่มีเหตุอันสมควรให้นายทะเบียนมีอำนาจสั่งให้ผู้นั้นหยุดดำเนินกิจการไว้จนกว่าจะได้เสียค่าธรรมเนียมและเงินเพิ่มครบจำนวน และให้นำความในมาตรา ๔๐ วรรคสี่ รวมทั้งบทกำหนดโทษที่เกี่ยวข้อง มาใช้บังคับโดยอนุโลม
