I have been golfing for quite a few years now and have always used one brand of golf ball, although I have tried most brands and types of golf balls. The brand I have stayed with has a very good name and reputation, a leader in golf ball sales and design. The premium ball has a nice feel around the greens, but are costly, especially if you lose one or two. The more expensive balls tend to last longer than the cheaper balls, I'm sure there is a good ball that is a reasonable price on a dozen that will suit most golfers. I have played most types of golf balls such as the four piece softer cover for feel, for putting and chipping. Then tried a three piece ball which is better for distance but has less feel around the green. Now there is a five piece ball which is supposed to be good for distance and feel, I have yet to try it but have heard good reports on it from golfers that have used it recently. There is a option that is right in the middle of these three types of golf balls, that is the feel and distance ball that most companies have as a choice when you want to spend around thirty to forty dollars on a dozen balls. I have chosen this price range because it is reasonable and often when I am playing golf I find the more expensive types in the rough and keep them for when I'm playing good golf. There are recycled golf balls that are available for a very good price on one hundred or more, if that is the amount you need or want.
