It is important to mark your ball with some design or dot pattern so you don't mistakenly hit the wrong ball. Use your imagination when you mark your ball so there is no mistaking the right one when you need to identify it. I like to put dots over the name on the ball, or initials over both names on the ball. I have known some to use a yellow golf ball because they can find it easier; my suggestion to them was that if you are on the fairway, a white ball or yellow is very easy to find. A white golf ball is just as hard to find as any other golf ball for that matter when it's in the rough. The choice of ball that you use is important because of your swing speed and skill level. Professionals use premium golf balls, average golfers use a ball that is slightly less expensive but still delivers the feel and distance that they want. Beginners should use the brand of ball that is the best priced for quality and durability, often their ball travels to harsh and dark places, so toughness is a concern as well as price. I would think that twenty dollars would be a good price to pay for a dozen inexpensive golf balls. I recommend trying different brands just to see for yourself if you can feel the difference, I am pretty sure that you will definitely notice the difference between distance and feel golf balls. Treat the golf ball like it is your best freind on the golf course and maybe it will be good and listen to you. Well at least we can try, as golfers we are always looking for an inside edge. Remember to swing smooth and enjoy your next round of golf, and keep your eye on the ball.
