กรมอุตุนิยมวิทยารายงานลักษณะอากาศทั่วไปเมื่อเวลา 04.00 น. บริเวณความกดอากาศสูงจากประเทศจีนยังคงปกคลุมประเทศไทยตอนบนและทะเลจีนใต้ ทำให้บริเวณภาคเหนือ และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ มีอากาศเย็นกับมีหมอกในตอนเช้า ในขณะที่ลมตะวันออกพัดนำความชื้นจากทะเลจีนใต้และอ่าวไทยเข้ามาปกคลุมภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง ภาคตะวันออก ภาคกลาง และภาคใต้ ทำให้บริเวณดังกล่าวมีฝนฟ้าคะนองกระจายในระยะนี้
