Perks Matter Perks matterSome companies have been offering lavish perks for attention, with their workforce-massage, gourmet lunches, free table tennis, children's care facilities-but, like money, these things tend to be less efficient than the motivation for greater challenges at work and the feeling of being a valuable part of the team that has the quality to be recognized for their participation. Managers need to understand that even though these are great perks and release the burden from the shoulders of the employees they will not substitute for a source of inspiration and of professional.
