- สำหรับข้อเสีย ของการทํางานที่บ้านนั้น ที่มีผลก็คือ เป็นงานที่ค่อนข้างอิสระ ซึ่งบางครั้งการไม่มีกฏเกณฑ์อะไรมาบังคับ อาจจะทำให้เราขี้เกียจ ไม่มีแรงจูงใจในการทำงาน ไม่เร่งรีบ ถ้ายังไม่ถึงกำหนดเวลา เพราะฉะนั้นการทำงานที่บ้าน เราจะต้องเป็นเจ้านายตัวเองให้ได้ และการที่ทำงานอยู่ที่บ้านตลอดเวลา อยู่กับสิ่งเดิมๆ ไม่พบปะผู้คน อาจจะทำให้เกิดความเบื่อหน่าย และผลงานทั้งหมดจะออกมาดี หรือไม่ดี อาจจะขึ้นอยู่กับเราเพียงคนเดียว
