ปัจจุบันเด็กชอบความสะดวกสบายอะไรที่ยุ่งยากหรือใช้เวลาทำนานๆจะมีเด็กส่วนน้อยเท่านั้นที่ใส่ใจ การบ้านก็เช่นกัน ทุกๆคนรู้การบ้านคือสิ่งครูหมอบหมายให้นักเรียนกลับมาฝึกฝน มาทำความเข้าใจ นั้นเป็นสิ่งดีที่ทำให้นักเรียนเกิดการพัฒนาและพัฒนาสมอง แต่ถ้ามองอีกด้านนักเรียนไทยคิดว่าเรียนในชั้นเรียนก็ควรจะเพียงพอแล้ว เพราะควรเอาเวลาทำการบ้านมาทำความเข้าใจในห้องเรียนให้ดีอาจจะซึมซับได้ดีกว่า ซึ่งในส่วนของการบ้านของเด็กไทย เด็กไทยเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์ สังคม ภาษาอังกฤษ ภาษาไทย และวิชาอื่นๆ ถ้าเรียนวันละ6วิชา สัปดาห์หนึ่งเรียน5วัน เราก็จะมีการบ้านอย่างน้อย30ชิ้น ทำให้เด็กไทยคิดว่าเรียนหนักเเล้วการบ้านก็เยอะอีกด้วย จึงทำให้พวกเค้ามีเวลาไปทำอย่างอื่นน้อยลงทั้งๆที่เรียนในห้องเข้าใจแล้วและอีกสาเหตุครูบางคนให้ทำการบ้านก่อนสอนทั้งๆที่ยังเรียนไม่รู้เรื่อง สาเหตุของเด็กไทยนั้นมีมากมายที่มีความคิดไม่ชอบทำการบ้านบางส่วนก็สมเหตุสมผลบางส่วนก็เป็นความเห็นจากส่วนมาก เพราะโรงเรียนในไทยเรียนเยอะและการบ้านแต่ละวิชามีมากซึ่งอาจเหนื่อยและเบื่อในบางทีได้
