จากรูปแสดงลักษณะการไหลแบบ Transition flow หรือช่วงเปลี่ยนจาก Laminar เป็น Turbulent ซึ่งมีลักษณะการไหลผสมผสานทั้งแบบ Laminar และ Turbulent คือในช่วงแรกๆเส้นสีเป็นเส้นตรงและต่อมามีการกระจายตัวแต่ยังคงเป็นชั้นอยู่ และในช่วงกลางของความยาวท่อถึงช่วงสุดท้ายการไหลของเส้นสีมีลักษณะไร้รูปแบบ
