ทางด้านสื่อไทยได้รายงานว่า ตำรวจสามารถจับกุมคนร้ายได้แล้ว 3 ราย ประกอบด้วย นายยิ่งใหญ่ แสงคำอินทร์ อายุ 32 ปี, นายสุภัทา ใบทอง อายุ 32 ปี, นายศิวะ นกศรี อายุ 20 ปี ทั้งสามถูกดำเนินคดีข้อหาร่วมกันทำร้ายร่างกายผู้อื่นให้ได้รับอันตรายแก่กายสาหัส ส่วนคนร้ายรายที่ 4 นายไชยา ใจบุญ อายุ 20 ปี อยู่ระหว่างหลบหนี

ทั้งนี้ ผู้ต้องหาทั้งสามได้รับการประกันตัวออกไปแล้ว เพื่อรอการพิจารณาคดี
