​ในการจัดทำปัญหาพิเศษเรื่อง แอพพลิเคชั่นบนระบบปฏิบัติการแอนดรอยด์เพื่อคำนวณปริมาณแคลอรี่ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นเครื่องมือสำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการควบคุมน้ำหนัก ช่วยให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถตรวจสอบปริมาณแคลอรี่ที่จำเป็นในชีวิตประจำวันได้ง่าย โดยแอพพลิเคชั่นทำงานอยู่บนระบบปฏิบัติการแอนดรอยด์ ภายใต้ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการคำนวณ ได้แก่ อัตราการเผาผลาญพลังงานพื้นฐานของร่างกาย (Basal Metabolic Rate) และ ค่าดัชนีมวลกาย (Body Mass Index) เทคโนโลยีที่นำมาใช้คือ Mobile Application โดยนำซอฟแวร์ฐานข้อมูล MySQL เข้ามาช่วยในการจัดเก็บประวัติการคำนวณข้อมูลที่ได้ เพื่อให้ผู้ใช้งานทราบการเปลี่ยนแปลงปริมาณแคลอรี่ในแต่ละวัน ภาษาคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เลือกใช้ได้แก่ PHP, HTML, CSS ใช้แอพพลิเคชั่นสำเร็จรูป Dreamweaver CS3 ในการออกแบบหน้าแอพพลิเคชั่น
