ตำแหน่งงานในแผนกแม่บ้านโดยทั่วไปจะมีดังนี้

1.หัวหน้าแผนกแม่บ้าน (Executive Housekeeper)

รับผิดชอบงานแผนกแม่บ้านทั้งหมดโดยขึ้นกับผู้จัดการใหญ่ (General Manager) ของ

โรงแรม แต่ก็มีบางโรงแรม เหมือนกันที่หัวหน้าแผนกแม่บ้านไปขึ้นกับผู้จัดการส่วนหน้า (Front of House Manager)

2.หัวหน้าแม่บ้าน (Head Housekeeper)

หัวหน้าแม่บ้านดูแลตรวจตราการทำงานของผู้ช่วยแม่บ้านหรือแม่บ้านประจำฟลอร์(ชั้นของอาคาร) 3 คนขึ้นไป ในกรณีที่เป็นโรงแรมขนาดเล็ก หัวหน้าแม่บ้านก็จะดูแลรับผิดชอบงานแผนกแม่บ้านทั้งหมด ในเมืองไทยนิยมเรียกเป็น Senior Floor Supervisor
