To the above brother, with all due respect the video isn't here for us to debate the legitimacy of wearing or not wearing niqaab. It's to demonstrate how ludicrous this ban that could potentially be as part of the English legal system. To dictate to anyone whether they be Muslim women or anyone for that matter is absurd on a whole new level.
I'm not a scholar but the little I do know Islamically there are narrations whereby the wife's of the prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) would lower their adornments from their head over their faces when riders were passing and when they passed by they would uncover their faces.
Again it's a matter of interpretation and opinion and I respect you whatever your stance maybe on niqab. I personally believe we should support each other and our Muslim sisters...we are one Ummah and in this day and age it's extremely important for us to stand by each other. I have nothing but the upmost respect for these women
