น้ำตกแม่ยะ ตั้งอยู่ทางตอนใต้ของอุทยานแห่งชาติดอยอินทนนท์ น้ำตกแม่ยะเป็นน้ำตกขนาดใหญ่ ที่มีความสวยงามเป็นที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจสำหรับผู้พบเห็น

น้ำตกแห่งนี้มีความสูงประมาณ 280 เมตร มีจำนวนชั้นทั้งหมด 30 ชั้น โดยมีต้นน้ำมาจากดอยอินทนนท์ ซึ่งปัจจุบันยังคงความอุดมสมบูรณ์อยู่มาก นอกจากนั้นดอยอินทนนท์ยังเป็นดอยที่สูงที่สุดในประเทศไทยอีกด้วย

สำหรับการมาเที่ยวชมน้ำตกแม่ยะนั้น นิยมกันในช่วงฤดูร้อน เนื่องจากน้ำจะมีลักษณะใสไม่ขุ่นเหมือนช่วงหน้าฝน ที่สำคัญคือคุณสามารถลงเล่นน้ำได้อย่างปลอดภัยกว่าช่วงหน้าฝนอีกด้วย

หากต้องการมาชมความงดงาม หรือมาเก็บภาพสวยๆ ในช่วงฤดูน้ำหลากนั้น สายน้ำในน้ำตกแม่ยะจะแผ่กระจายออกไปตามเชิงผา ที่มีความกว้างราวๆ 100 เมตร ซึ่งมีความสวยงามมากกว่าฤดูอื่นๆ

การเดินทางมาเที่ยวน้ำตกแม่ยะ เมื่อคุณเลี้ยวรถเข้ามายังทางหลวงหมายเลข 1009 จะมีป้ายบอกทางขนาดเล็ก ให้เลี้ยวขวาเข้าไปอีก 14 กิโลเมตร เพื่อเข้าสู่น้ำตกแม่ยะ
