รัฐเดินหน้าแผนจัดการขยะพลาสติกสำหรับรัฐบาลภายใต้การนำของ พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้ให้ความสำคัญในการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม และตั้งเป้าหมายลด ละ เลิก ใช้พลาสติกภายในปี 2565 และได้มอบหมายให้กระทรวงมหาดไทยร่วมกับกระทรวงทรัพยากรธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อมและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ดำเนินการขับเคลื่อนตามแผนปฏิบัติการด้านการจัดการขยะพลาสติก พ.ศ. 2561-2573

State secularism plastic waste management plan.
For the government, under the leadership of Gen.. Prayut Chan-o-cha Prime Minister recognizes the importance of environmental preservation. And avoidance target for plastics by the year 2565 and was assigned to the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and Related Agencies.
