งานวัตถุนี้มีประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการนำนโยบายกรีนไอทีสู่การให้บริการนักศึกษา 2) เพื่อสำรวจความพึงพอใจของแนวทางการนำนโยบายกรีนไอทีสู่การให้บริการนักศึกษา คณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏมหาสารคาม วิธีการดำเนินการวิจัยคือ 1) การศึกษาเอกสาร งานวิจัย ศึกษาเอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ได้แก่ หลักการด้านกรีนไอที การพัฒนารูปแบบ ทัศนคติ หลักการด้านการยอมรับเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม หลักการด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ เอกสารงานวิจัยด้านกรีนไอที และสรุปผลการศึกษา 2) สอบถามความคิดเห็นแนวทางการนำนโยบายกรีนไอทีสู่การให้บริการนักศึกษา จากบุคลากรที่เป็นผู้บริหารหรือบุคลากร ของคณะเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏมหาสารคามและสรุปผลจากการระดมความคิดเห็น เพื่อใช้เป็นข้อมูลในการดำเนินการในระยะต่อไป
ผลการศึกษาการยอมรับรูปแบบการดำเนินงานกรีนไอทีของกลุ่มเป้าหมาย โดยใช้แบบวัดความพึงพอใจ พบว่า โดยรวมกลุ่มเป้าหมายมีความพึงพอใจในการดำเนินงานกรีนไอทีในระดับมาก เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่าความพึงพอใจอยู่ในระดับมาก เหตุที่เป็นเช่นนี้อาจจะเนื่องมาจาก ด้านความพร้อมการรับรู้ถึงประโยชน์ที่ช่วยลดค่าใช้จ่ายขององค์กรทั้งทางตรงและทางอ้อมจากการที่นำกรีนไอทีมาใช้ในองค์กร พบว่า ส่งผลต่อการยอมรับในการนำกรีนไอทีมาใช้ในองค์เพิ่มมากขึ้นด้วย ด้านปัจจัยสนับสนุนของผู้บริหาร พบว่า การที่ผู้บริหารสนใจนำกรีนไอทีมาประยุกต์ใช้ในองค์กร ส่งผลต่อการยอมรับในการนำกรีนไอทีมาใช้ในองค์เพิ่มมากขึ้นด้วย และด้านกฎระเบียบ ข้อบังคับ พบว่า เมื่อองค์กรมีกฎระเบียบ ข้อบังคับ หรือแนวปฏิบัติการดำเนินการกรีนไอที หากบุคลากรรับรู้ถึงประสิทธิผลของพฤติกรรมต่อนโยบายกรีนไอที และมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเพื่อสิ่งแวดล้อม จะส่งผลให้บุคลากรตั้งใจจะปฏิบัติตามนโยบายกรีนไอที
