บุคคลที่รับผิดชอบ จะเสนอแนะวิธีปฏิบัติการแก้ไขปัญหาและรายงานสาเหตุของปัญหาที่พบต่อผู้จัดการฝ่ายประกันและควบคุมคุณภาพหรือผู้ที่ได้รับมอบหมายภายในเวลาไม่เกิน 30 วัน ในกรณีปัญหาที่ต้องใช้ระยะเวลาในการสืบสวนนานกว่าที่กล่าวมา การเปลี่ยนแปลงเวลาต้องมีการบันทึกไว้เป็นเอกสารและ/หรือต้องมีการจัดทำแผนการปฏิบัติงานแสดงไว้
