งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาและวิเคราะห์เศรษฐกิจแรงงาน ที่ทำโครงการแก้ไขปัญหาความเดือดร้อนด้านอาชีพ พร้อมไปกับปัญหา และอุปสรรคในการบริหารจัดการโครงการแก้ไขปัญหาความเดือดร้อนด้านอาชีพของเจ้าหน้าที่ส่วนกลาง และเจ้าหน้าที่ส่วนภูมิภาค ซึ่งมีวิธีการศึกษาดำเนินการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเพื่อการวิจัยในครั้งนี้จะเป็นการเก็บข้อมูลแบบ 2 ลักษณะ คือการเก็บข้อมูลแบบทุติยภูมิ เป็นค้นคว้าข้อมูลจากเอกสาร หนังสือและบทความที่เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อให้ได้ข้อมูลพื้นฐานที่ใช้เป็นแนวทางในการศึกษา และการเก็บข้อมูลแบบปฐมภูมิ เป็นลักษณะการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก และการตอบแบบสอบถาม เพื่อที่จะได้ทราบถึงกระบวนการหน้าที่และปัญหาการจัดการโครงการแก้ไขปัญหาความเดือดร้อนด้านอาชีพ ของกระทรวงแรงงาน และสำนักงานแรงงานจังหวัดพร้อมไปกับปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการบริหารจัดการโครงการ และนำข้อมูลจากการตอบคำถามแบบสัมภาษณ์ และสอบถามมาเขียนแบบวิเคราะห์ใน โปรแกรม Excel พร้อมทั้งพรรณราความ ตีความ และจำแนกประเภทเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับวัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษา
