Rajamangala University of Technology) เป็นระบบมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐในประเทศไทย สังกัด สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอุดมศึกษา ปัจจุบันมีอยู่ 9 แห่งทั่วประเทศ ก่อตั้งในปี พ.ศ. 2518 ในชื่อ วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีและอาชีวศึกษา ต่อมาในปี พ.ศ. 2531 พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวภูมิพลอดุลยเดชฯ ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าฯ พระราชทานชื่อใหม่ว่า สถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล และได้ยกสถานะเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเมื่อวันที่ 18 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2548 ตามพระราชบัญญัติมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล พ.ศ. 2548
