ใบมีรูปร่างคล้ายไข่ ก้านใบและก้านดอกมีสีน้ำตาลอมแดง ดอกดก และทยอยออกดอกตามกัน บาน 3-4 วัน กลีบเลี้ยงด้านนอกสีเขียว ส่วนด้านในสีเหมือนกลีบดอก คือ สีม่วงเข้ม
