การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อการศึกษาปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการบริหารงานพัสดุขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแดงใหญ่ อำเภอบ้านใหม่ไชพจน์ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์จำแนกตามลักษณะทางประชากรศาสตร์ การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) โดยใช้แบบสอบถาม (Questionnaire) ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้ที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับการบริหารงานพัสดุในองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแดงใหญ่ อำเภอบ้านใหม่ไชพจน์ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์จำนวน 132 คน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามมีความคิดเห็นต่อปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการบริหารงานพัสดุขององค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลแดงใหญ่ อำเภอบ้านใหม่ไชพจน์ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 3.17 เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้าน พบว่า ทุกด้านมีความคิดเห็นอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง โดยเรียงลำดับจากค่าเฉลี่ยมากไปหาค่าเฉลี่ยน้อย ดังนี้ ด้านการปฏิบัติตามแผนการจัดซื้อจัดจ้าง ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.28 รองลงมาด้านการประเมินผลการจัดซื้อจัดจ้าง ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.16 ด้านการติดตามผลการปฏิบัติงานค่าเฉลี่ย 3.12 และด้านการวางแผนการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างค่าเฉลี่ย 3.11 ตามลำดับ
