จากที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นแล้วว่า การสูญเสียการได้ยินเสียงคือความยากลำบากอย่างที่สุด เพราะมันคือการสูญเสียทั้งทักษะการฟังและทักษะการพูด เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับ sense ด้านอื่นๆแล้ว ฉันคิดว่า sense ทางการได้ยินเสียงนั้นสำคัญที่สุด ยกตัวอย่างเช่น ถ้าฉันสูญเสียการมองเห็น ฉันแค่มองไม่เห็นเพียงอย่างเดียว หรือถ้าฉันสูญเสียการได้กลิ่น ฉันแค่ไม่สามารถแยกแยะได้ระหว่างกลิ่นหอมกับกลิ่นเหม็น
