ในปัจจุบันนี้ประเทศไทยมีความจำเป็นในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษสื่อสารกับชาวต่างชาติมากขึ้นเช่น ด้านธุรกิจ ด้านการท่องเที่ยว แต่คนไทยในตอนนี้ไม่รู้จักฝึกฝนเพื่อเพิ่มทักษะภาษาอังกฤษให้ตนเอง เสียเวลาว่างไปกับโทรศัพท์มือถือทำให้ทักษะภาษาอังกฤษของคนไทยแย่ลง
ดังนั้นฉันจึงคิดว่าวิชานี้เป็นวิชาที่ดีและมีประโยชน์ในการนำมาสอนเพื่อให้นักเรียนนักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้เป็นการเสริมสร้างทักษะภาษาอังกฤษให้แก่ฉันเป็นอย่างมาก ความรู้ที่ฉันได้จากการเรียนวิชานี้สามารถนำไปใช้ได้จริงในการทำงาน การเรียนหรือการใช้ชีวิตประจำวัน
การทำงานนั้น เราใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในการสื่อสารเพื่อติดต่องาน หรือ การค้นคว้าข้อมูลเพื่อทำรายงานหรืองานวิจัย
การเรียน ในการเรียนสามารถใช้ภาษาอังกฤษสื่อสารกับชาวต่างชาติและเจ้าของภาษานั้นได้
ในชีวิตประจำวันนั้น เราสามารถนำภาษาอังกฤษมาช่วยเหลือคนต่างชาติที่เข้ามาท่องเที่ยวในประเทศไทยได้ เนื่องจากชาวต่างชาติต้องการความช่วยเหลือและส่วนมากสิ่งที่นักท่องเที่ยวมักจะมองว่าพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ดีคือนักเรียนตั้งแต่มัธยมจนถึงระดับอุดมศึกษาหรือที่เราเรียกกันว่านักศึกษา ดังนั้นการที่เราได้เรียนภาษาอกฤษที่จะนำไว้ใช้ในการทำงานและการใช้ชีวิตถือเป็นเรื่องที่ดีและเห็นด้วยเป็นอย่างมาก
