ข้อเสนอแนะจากการศึกษา ผู้วิจัยได้มีข้อเสนอแนะออกเป็น 2 ส่วน คือ ข้อเสนอแนะทั่วไป ดังนี้1)ควรมีการศึกษาติดตามผลการนำรูปแบบการประเมินความพึงพอใจในชีวิตของผู้สูงอายุ สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงกลาโหมที่ได้จากงานวิจัยใช้กับกลุ่มสมาชิกชมรมผู้สูงอายุสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงกลาโหม ในกิจกรรมต่างๆที่จัดขึ้นในชมรมฯ เพื่อจะได้รู้ถึงผลลัพธ์ในด้านความพึงพอใจของผู้สูงอายุที่สังกัด ชมรมผู้สูงอายุสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงกลาโหม และ 2) ควรมีการศึกษาปัจจัยสนับสนุนและปัจจัยขัดขวางต่อการจัดกิจกรรมที่เหมาะสมกับผู้อายุในชมรมผู้สูงอายุสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงกลาโหม รวมทั้งการสนับสนุนทางสังคมที่กลุ่มผู้สูงอายุต้องการให้สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงกลาโหม
ให้การสนับสนุน สำหรับ ข้อเสนอแนะในการวิจัยครั้งต่อไป ดังนี้ 1) ควรมีการวิจัย การนำแผนงานพัฒนาบุคลากรในระยะยาวของ สป.เพื่อรองรับการก้าวเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุของประเทศไทย โดยการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพมากขึ้น โดยเน้นศึกษาภูมิหลังและผลในระยะเวลานานขึ้นเพื่อจะได้รู้ถึงผลลัพธ์
ที่เกิดขึ้น และควรมีเครื่องมือในการวิจัยเพิ่มขึ้น เช่นแบบสังเกต แบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบสอบถาม เป็นต้น และ 2) ควรมีการวิจัย เรื่องการเตรียมความพร้อม เพื่อรองรับการก้าวเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุของประเทศไทย ให้กว้างขวางออกไปในทุกกลุ่มเป้าหมาย ในทุกระดับการศึกษา โดยเริ่มต้นจากกลุ่มผู้ที่เริ่มเข้าทำงานใหม่ ก่อนเพราะเป็นผู้ใหญ่ที่ประกอบอาชีพ และมีความพร้อม มีความต้องการและสภาพปัญหาได้มากกว่า
