งานวิจัยนี้มุ่งศึกษาสำนึกทางสังคมในกวีนิพนธ์ไทยในยุคโลกาภิวัตน์อันเป็นช่วงท่ามกลางบริบทสังคมวัฒนธรรมที่อยู่ในกระแสโลกสมัยใหม่ และในฐานะที่กวีเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสังคมและเป็นทั้ง “ประจักษ์พยาน” แห่งยุคสมัย กวีมองความเคลื่อนไหวเปลี่ยนแปลงหรือปรากฏการณ์ต่างๆ ของสังคมไทยและได้สื่อสำนึกทางสังคมอันเป็นหนทางนำไปสู่การสร้างคุณค่าและความหมายของชีวิตในกระแสโลกาภิวัตน์ รวมทั้งพยายามสื่อถึงคุณค่าอันพึงประสงค์ทั้งต่อมนุษย์และสรรพสิ่ง โดยศึกษาจากผลงานของกวีไทยสมัยใหม่ที่สื่อสำนึกทางสังคมดังกล่าวในช่วงปี ๒๕๑๙ - ๒๕๕๖ จากผลงานของกวีที่มีวัยวุฒิและภูมิหลังต่างกันเป็นตัวแทนของยุคสมัย

This research aims to study social conscience in Thailand poetry in the context of a globalized society in the modern world. As a poet and a part of society as a whole. "Testimony" of modern poetry movement for change or phenomena. Thailand's society and the media have a social conscience, as a way to create value and meaning of life in globalization.
