เมื่อผู้บังคับบัญชาระดับสูงที่ได้รับคำร้องทุกข์จากพนักงานแล้ว จะดำเนินการหาทางยุติและชี้แจงด้วยวาจา หรืออาจตอบเป็นหนังสือแก่พนักงานผู้ยื่นคำร้องทุกข์ภายใน 14 วันทำงาน นับแต่วันที่ได้รับคำร้องทุกข์นั้น
