ภาคอุตสาหกรรม พร้อมทั้งสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้กับเทคโนโลยี และเศรษฐกิจดิจิตอล ตามนโยบายของรัฐ

ซิป้าร่วมกับ สถาบันวิจัยเพื่อการพัฒนาประเทศ ไทย (ทีดีอาร์ไอ) สำรวจตลาดซอฟต์แวร์และบริการซอฟต์แวร์ เพื่อให้ภาคเอกชนและภาครัฐสามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ในการวางแผนธุรกิจและนโยบาย


ปิดเผยถึงภาพรวมของตลาดซอฟต์แวร์และบริการซอฟต์แวร์ของไทย 2557 ว่า ได้เติบโตเพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2556 โดยพบว่ามีมูลค่าการผลิตเฉพาะที่เกิดขึ้นในประเทศไทยรวม 54,980 ล้านบาท จำแนกเป็นมูลค่าการผลิตซอฟต์แวร์สำเร็จรูป 15,031 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2556 และมูลค่าการผลิตบริการซอฟต์แวร์ 39,940 ล้านบาท ทั้งนี้ พบว่าภาคการเงินเป็นสาขาที่มีการใช้จ่ายด้านซอฟต์แวร์และบริการซอฟต์แวร์สูงที่สุด

ขณะที่ การส่งออกซอฟต์แวร์และบริการซอฟต์แวร์มีมูลค่าประมาณ 4,572 ล้านบาท จำแนกเป็นมูลค่าการส่งออกซอฟต์แวร์สำเร็จรูป 939 ล้านบาท และการส่งออกบริการซอฟต์แวร์ 3,633 ล้านบาท

จากการสำรวจยังพบแนวโน้มที่น่าสนใจคือ ผู้ผลิตซอฟต์แวร์สำเร็จ รูปของไทยมีมูลค่า การส่งออกเพิ่มสูงขึ้น เช่น ซอฟต์ แวร์ด้านการบริหาร จัดการโรงแรมและรีสอร์ท ซอฟต์แวร์ด้านระบบบริหารจัดการการค้าปลีก และซอฟต์แวร์ด้านการบริหารทรัพยากรมนุษย์ เป็นต้น เนื่องจากผู้ประกอบการไทยจำนวนมากยังเห็นโอกาสของตลาดในต่างประเทศที่มีอัตราการเติบโตสูง โดยเฉพาะตลาดเออีซี แม้ว่าผู้ประกอบการรายใหญ่มีการย้ายฐานการผลิตบางส่วนไปยังต่างประเทศแล้วก็ตาม

นอกจากนี้ การสำรวจดังกล่าวยังพบว่าซอฟต์แวร์สำเร็จรูปที่ใช้งานผ่านเว็บ (SaaS) นั้นเติบโตมาก ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นถึงแนวโน้ม ในการใช้งานคลาวด์เพิ่มมากขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ส่วนของตลาดซอฟต์แวร์สมองกลฝังตัวพบว่ามีมูลค่าการผลิตภายในประเทศเท่ากับ 6,165 ล้าน บาท ผู้ประกอบการส่วนมากยังสามารถรักษาอัตราการเติบโตไว้ได้ เนื่องจากการขยายตัวของ Internet of Things (IoT) และ Wearable devices แม้ว่าผู้ประกอบการรายใหญ่จะได้รับผลกระทบจากการชะลอตัวของอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์

ทั้งนี้ คาดการณ์ถึงปี 2558 ว่าตลาดซอฟต์แวร์และบริการซอฟต์แวร์ของไทยจะมีมูลค่าการผลิตภายในประเทศประมาณ 61,096 ล้านบาท จำแนกเป็นมูลค่าการผลิตซอฟต์แวร์สำเร็จรูปประมาณ 15,973 ล้านบาท และมูลค่าการผลิตบริการซอฟต์แวร์ประมาณ 45,113 ล้านบาท และในปี 2559 คาดว่าจะเติบโตใกล้เคียงกับปี 2558 ตามการขยายตัวของเศรษฐกิจดิจิตอล
